Did you know that more ‘screen time’ could save your life? We’re not talking about planning your next movie marathon, but instead spending more time behind your shower screen.
Almost half of UK women don’t check for early signs of breast cancer. That’s why we worked with our high-end showerscreen client MERLYN and the Pink Ribbon Foundation to raise awareness for this important cause.
The campaign, coined #MySanctuary, promotes self-care and urges people to use their time in the shower to check for early warning signs – as well as taking some much needed time out for pampering, especially after the events of *that* year.
Shower yourself in self-care
In the words of Lisa Allen, the Pink Ribbon Foundation’s Head of Corporate Partnerships, “Showering is one of the best times to check your breasts. In fact, it’s the most common place that women pick up on any changes to their bodies.”
Find out five top tips for creating the time, space and optimum setting for some all-important self-care and self-checking here.
Transforming your bathroom routine
In an effort to turn mundane bathroom rituals into a more relaxing and revitalising experience, it all starts with setting the scene.
The My Sanctuary series, heard from influential designers Jo Love, Mia Horton and Emma-Louise Hood. They shared their design expertise and tips to help women – and men – create their perfect bathroom sanctuary at home.
To add some luxe into their self-care routine – without committing to a full bathroom overhaul – we also sent out twenty personalised pamper packages to key influencers in the space.
Full to the brim with self-care goodies, the packages show the simple steps you can take to switch up your self-care routine.
